ADSORBA® N

ADSORBA®-N for sand filtration with the optimal exactly defined particle size distribution. Only by this way can the high efficiency of adsorption and the enhanced capability of filtration be guaranteed. These properties are necessary for a clean function.We guarantee that ADSORBA®-N has no particle sizes larger than 0,1 mm (100 μm). Sand filter filled according to DIN(ø 0,71mm grain of sand) let a gap of 100 μm in the top filter layer (cp. red particle). Thus rough products will block your filter much sooner.

ADSORBA® A

The optimum filtration properties of ADSORBA®- A , in conjunction with the highest permeability guarantee long service times. ADSORBA®-A more crude than ADSORBA®-N and has particle sizes over 100 μm or 0,1 mm. Precoat filters must be run with highclass special powdered activated carbon, which must be different than those used for sand filters. So called all-round powder activated carbons are a bad compromise, because they are more fine and have worse filter properties as well as far to little permeability. If you use those carbons your filters will block much sooner

ADSORBA® UltraF

In Ultrafiltration substantially finer carbons have to be used than in sand or precoat filters, because otherwise the danger of blockage is too high. ADSORBA®-UltraF serves this purpose wit a D₅₀ value of 7 μm (50% of all particles are smaller than 7 μm) outstandingly, and has a superior kinetic reaction due to a better entrance to the pores. The back rinsing properties are improved and a higher homogeneity of the filter cake is achieved.
